Come and bring your friends! This free event is specifically geared for women. Whether you ride, want to ride, or on the fence about riding, this event will be a blast! Friday at 6pm we will have guests from different vendors sharing the latest and greatest. You will mingle while you enjoy local Sonoma County wine and an array of delectable appetizers. Saturday we will gear up for an all women’s road ride specially tailored to the individuals who partake. This will be a no drop (no one left behind) ride that is appropriate for all. Please arrive before 9am for a complimentary fix-a-flat and emergency repair clinic. The ride will begin at 9:30 am. Please call to rsvp.

Windsor Bicycle Center is happy to announce that we offer group road rides Saturdays and Mondays at 10am. Meet up at the shop for a spin! Monday’s ride (led by Howard Hesterberg, aka “Southern Comfort”) is a brisk ride approximately 45-55 miles. Saturday’s ride (led by Alex Toth) will be a no-drop moderately paced ride 20-40 miles. The speed of the crew will determine the pace for Saturdays ride.

Rickshaw Rudy Gets Muddy at Cool

The race will cover approximately 10 miles of fire roads (85%) and singletrack (15%) on the Olmstead Loop in Cool, CA (six miles south of Auburn, CA). Begineers will do one lap, sport two laps and expert/pro will do three laps. Singlespeed, Clydedales, tandems and expert women will do two laps. As the promoters warn, “the course will be muddy.“

Wednesday Night Spin Class at the shop!

We are now offering ‘byob (bike)’ spin class with Howard. You bring the bike, and we supply the trainer to put it on. This is not only great exercise but a great way to become more familiar with your bicycle and shifting. The class begins at 7pm and reservations are strongly recommended. Class is $10 if purchased individually. Discounts given for packages of 5 or more.
